Good Evening everyone. It's good to be back for my other Daily Activity Report for this 4th weeks.
Today me and my other friends gonna make Pie Dough and Sugar Dough. Mr. Faisal give us some instruction about Pie Dough and Sugar Dough. For your information, Pie Dough is made from Flour, Butter, Cold Water, salt, and usually uses egg that you mix it with Rub Methode. What's the different between Pie Dough and Sugar Dough? Well, Sugar Dough have some additional ingredients wich is Icing Sugar or Granulated Sugar for add the sweetness.
Me and my friend, Hardy made the First Dough that was a Sugar Dough and we continue with making Pie Dough. The key for make a perfect Pie Dough and Sugar Dough was :
- Make sure when you rub it use utensil not with your hand, because the temperature of your hand can make the Butter getting hot and broke the dough.
- After the dough in to the mould and have the shape that you want, keep it in chiller for make the Butter keep cold before you bake it because your hand already touch the dough while you moulding wich it makes the teperature getting warm or hot.
